  6.   Interpret the symbols commonly used in maps and plans. 
  7.  Draw simple plans with different scales

  1.  Explain the different ways of representing the Earth, such as maps, globes and plans. 
  2.  Identify and classify different types of maps. 
  3.  Be able to state what a map scale is. 
  4.  Use and interpret the symbols commonly used in maps. 
  5. Locate different points on Earth using lines of latitude and geographical coordinates. 
  6.  Carry out work set and present work in a clear and ordered manner. 
  7. Use strategies for carrying out work individually and in a group, and show the ability to resolve conflicts in a peaceful manner
